5 Things You Need to Know Today, Oct. 2

Before you start your day here are five things you need to know.

1. Mosaics Class: Memorial Hall Library will be holding a "Let's Create: Mosaics" event tonight at 7 p.m. In this adult activity, attendees will learn about making glass mosaics and will be able to make something to bring home. Find all these events and more in the library's online calendar.

3. School Flu Vaccine: Andover Public Schools is once again offering the flu vaccine for students in grades 3 through 12. Find out more on the school's website. 

4. Bancroft Breaks Ground Oct. 4: The Andover Public Schools announced that they will be celebrating the Bancroft Elementary School groundbreaking on this Thursday, Oct. 4 at Bancroft School.

5. Weather: Today will be mostly sunny with a high temperature of 77 degrees. Tonight will bring a 40 percent chance of rain with a low 58 degrees.
