Dance to Benefit Local Woman Needing Double-Lung Transplant

Ashley Dias is in need of a double-lung transplant and will be the guest of honor at a Dinner-Dance fundraiser on Feb. 11.

Local woman Ashley Diaz is in need of a double-lung transplant and the National Foundation for Transplants has helped organize a benefit dance on Feb. 11 for Diaz, according to Boston.com. At age 26, she is in need of another transplant after being born with Cystic Fibrosis in 1985.

An article on Boston.com reported that the cost of the transplant is $650,000.

The dinner-dance, called "Breathe Easy for Ashley" is scheduled for Feb. 11 at the . It will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. and tickets are $75. Silent auctions, live auctions and raffles are included.
