Governor Recognizes Trial Advocacy Team

The Andover-based Massachusetts School of Law trial advocacy has been honored by Governor Deval Patrick.

(MSL) Trial Advocacy Team was officially recognized by Massachusetts Governor Deval L. Patrick through a citation highlighting the team accomplishments in the recent 2012 Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Competition.

MSL's trial team won the competition's Northeast Region (a second team placed 3rd in the region) and placed fourth in the country in the National Finals.

The citation, signed by both Governor Patrick and Lieutenant Governor Timothy P. Murray, reads, "On behalf of the citizens of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, we are pleased to confer upon you this governor's citation in recognition of your winning the NBLSA Northeast Thurgood Marshall Trial Competition and for your fourth place finish in the national competition."
