Mary O'Donoghue beat Jodi Oberto for a seat on the Board of Selectmen in Tuesday's town election.

O'Donoghue earned 941 votes compared to Oberto's 309, according to unofficial vote totals.

O’Donoghue, a realtor, served on the town's Finance Committee. She has lived in Andover since 1989.

"I would like to see us plan and organize our capital projects better than we have been doing," she previously said.

The race was the only contested one on the ballot. Joel Blumstein was elected to the School Committee.

Just 1,277 voters—or 5.6 percent of all eligible voters in town—cast a ballot Tuesday.
