ACE Scarecrow Festival
Andover Coalition for Education (ACE) is starting an annual event with the first ACE Scarecrow Festival in downtown Andover. For a whole week from Oct 20th - Oct 27th on Main street Andover you will have a chance to meet Bill Gates, Jane Goodall and Leadership Larry. You might bump into Amelia Earhart or Einstein. Are you interested? Why not check out the beautiful and interesting scarecrows made by Andover students from all ten Andover Public Schools.This event will culminate on Sunday Oct. 27th with a Festival Gathering outside Old Town Hall at noon. You can enjoy performances by three Andover High School choral groups. There will be a brief address by School Superintendent Dr. Marinel McGrath. Refreshments will be served.
With this first annual event, ACE hopes to bring a greater awareness about the organization and its mission to bring excellence to Andover Public schools. Come join ACE in celebrating our children, schools and ACE.
