Andover Garden Club Membership Meeting and Lecture "Gardening for the Spirit"

After some social time and a brief business meeting, photographer and gardening expert Cheryl Collins will present "Gardening for the Spirit: Connect Your Gardening to Your Soul." Collins will show attendees how to look at different types of gardens and decide what defines them. She'll offer simple tricks to design and plant a garden to delight all five senses. Come and be inspired to create a new space--or reinvent an older space--that brings joy to the soul and peace to the spirit.

Collins has been a freelance photographer for nearly 30 years and served as Garden Club Federation of Massachusetts (GCFM) state photographer for 6 years. Her work has been featured in The Vision of Beauty Calendar, National Gardener Magazine, and the GCFM website. A gardener and lecturer, Collins has presented to garden clubs and civic organizations throughout New England. Past president of the Garden Club of Mansfield, she has also served as GCFM South Shore district director.

No charge for members; $10 donation requested for guests (includes refreshments). For more information about the program, contact Linda Linderman at 978-470-1884 or linderll@aol.com.
