5% Day for United Teen Equality Center

Our team members are part of the local community and they are passionate about supporting the local causes that are important to our shoppers and neighbors.

Several times a year, our stores hold community giving days (otherwise known as “5% Days”) where five percent of that day’s net sales are donated to a local nonprofit or educational organization.

We are so excited to announce that our latest 5% Day will benefit the United Teen Equality Center (UTEC) in Lowel.

If you haven't heard of UTEC - here's a bit more about the center.

The United Teen Equality Center (UTEC), founded in 1999 and based in Lowell, was the result of an organizing movement driven by young people to develop their own teen center in response to gang violence.

Today, nationally recognized as a model youth development agency, our mission and promise is to ignite and nurture the ambition of Lowell’s most disconnected youth to trade violence and poverty for social and economic success.
