Marisa McCoy, award-winning floral designer and nationally accredited flower show judge, will present "Home for the Holidays: New Look for Old Traditions." This floral-design demonstration will focus on updating traditional floral decorating at home, including colors for tables, mantels, doorways, stairs, and gift packages. Currently first vice president of the Garden Club Federation of Massachusetts, Inc., McCoy is also a floral-design instructor, garden-club speaker, active member of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston Senior Associates, and a custom wedding and special-occasion floral designer.
Founded in 1927, the Andover Garden Club is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that encourages the study and practice of horticulture, landscape design, and floral design; aids in the beautification of the town of Andover; and helps protect and conserve natural resources. The club provides both financial and hands-on support to a variety of municipal, educational, and environmental organizations throughout the region.
