Movie: Searching for Sugar Man

"Searching for Sugar Man" obtained a rating of 4.8 stars on Amazon and won the Academy Award as the best documentary in 2012. The movie tells the unknown but incredible story of Rodriguez, who has been described as "the greatest '70s rock icon who never was" (Amazon). After he struggles for success in Detroit, a bootleg recording somehow made its way to apartheid South Africa, where over the next decades, he became a bigger star than Elvis. The film follows two South African fans' search to discover the whereabouts of their musical hero. $3.
