Positively Impacting Student Performance by Engaging Family and School

Positively
Impacting Student Performance by Engaging Family and School presented
by Carrie Rose, J.D., Executive, Director of the Parent/Teacher Home
Visit Project. Free and open to the public, refreshments served. Please

The Parent/Teacher
Home Visit Project increases communication and trust between families and
schools to ensure successful relationships that benefit all and support
student success. The Project’s home-visit model is based on a
community-organizing model and principles of family empowerment.
Currently, the Parent/Teacher Home Visit Project works in partnership
with Boston Public Schools and Springfield’s Pioneer Valley Project
as well as fourteen other states and the District of Columbia.
