Tree Time at the Historical Society

Tree Time returned on December 1, 2013!

Our enchanting collection of trees is a new twist on Andover’s history!

Community members let their imaginations run wild as they decorated

more than twenty-five trees based on objects from our exhibit: Behind the Seams.

We're thrilled to be continuing this popular holiday event for its sixth
year with another round of fresh creative decorated trees at the
Andover Historical Society. It's been particularly exciting to see
volunteers draw inspiration from the many costumes and accessories on
display in our Behind the Scenes exhibit. The decorators really
let their imaginations run wild - using a circa 1900 picnic scene to
inspire a tree decorated with food, wine, checkered napkins, and even an
oversized ant for a tree topper!

Tree Time at the Society is open to
the public Tuesdays through Sundays through December 29. Hours are noon
– 5:00 p.m. and admission is $8 per person, with discounts for
children, seniors, and Historical Society members. Tree Time will be
closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
