UU Vespers: "Cosmic Walk"

Join us for UU Vespers: "Cosmic Walk" on
Thursday, December 19, 7-8 pm

Rev. Lara Hoke leads a small, informal worship service of sharing,
meditation, prayer and music. It's a chance to experience our beautiful
sanctuary in the evening, lit by candlelight, in a contemplative
setting. It will be a nice chance to take a deep breath in the midst of
this busy season.

This month, in honor of the Solstice, Lara will lead a "Cosmic Walk" in
our sanctuary, and participants will be able to walk along the lit path
(almost like a labyrinth). The "Cosmic Walk" was originally created by
Sister Miriam Therese McGillis based on the works of Catholic priest and
eco-theologian Thomas Berry and Brian Swimme, professor of evolutionary
cosmology. Hope to see you there!
