Bowling Tourney, Style-a-Thon to Benefit Scholarships in Honor of Colleen Ritzer

Both events will raise money for the Colleen Ritzer Memorial Scholarship Fund.

There's a bowling tournament Sunday and a style-a-thon Monday both to raise funds for college scholarships in memory of slain Danvers High teacher Colleen Ritzer.

The candlepin bowling will take place Sunday at the Woburn Bowladrome. The tournament starts at noon and consists of teams of four players.

The entry fee is $120 per team and prizes will be awarded to the top competitors. If you don't have a team to sign up with, you can register individually for $30 and be placed on an open team.

The bowling alley is located at 32 Montvale Ave. in Woburn. Call Shawn Marciello at 978-853-0666 for more information.

The style-a-thon Monday will be up at Vero Salon and Spa in Middleton from 4-8 p.m.

There will be haircuts, pink hair extensions, chair massages, mini facials, bracelets, tee shirts, raffles and more.

"Join us to help the Ritzer family keep Colleen's legacy alive," reads a flyer for the event.

The salon is located at 1 Central St. in Middleton. Call 978-750-4004 for more information.
