Obituary: Mary Ann Comparato, 47, Wife & Mother

MaryAnn (McCusker) Comparato, 47, of Andover, MA, unexpectedly passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2014. MaryAnn was born to Jeanne (Paul) McCusker and the late Peter McCusker in Waltham, MA on December 5, 1966.

MaryAnn graduated from Lincoln Sudbury Regional High School in 1985 and earned degrees from Lasalle College and Northeastern University.  She worked as a sales representative in the high technology industry, taught in the Andover school district, and most recently as an Independent Consultant for ACN.

MaryAnn was married on June 7, 1997, and is survived by her husband, Frank Comparato of Andover, MA and her two beautiful children, Thomas C. Comparato and Genevieve N. Comparato. She will be lovingly remembered by her mother, Jeanne McCusker of North Andover, MA; her brother and sisters  Peter McCusker of Thetford, Vermont, Lynne (McCusker) Davis of Lowell, MA, and Sheila (McCusker) Roche of Manchester, NH; her brothers and sisters in laws Thomas and Diane (Hyde) Comparato of Tucson, AZ, Lea (Comparato) Savely of Andover, MA, Gina (Comparato) and Ralph Dellatto of Andover, MA and Christopher and Christina (Clifford) Comparato of South Hamilton, MA; nieces Ali, Julia, Emma, Talia, Marisa, Carly, Ella, Sophia, Ashlie, Stephanie and her daughter Brianna; nephews Jared, Alex, Cody,  Nicholas, Robert, Martin; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

MaryAnn loved being a mom and enjoyed time with her family and friends whether it was on vacation or just relaxing together. In her spare time, she enjoyed activities with her family, such as tennis, long walks, and going to the beach. 

MaryAnn was a fun, loving, strong person who will be fondly remembered for her ability to bring people together through her professional networking and personal vibrance. She will be sorely missed by so many friends and family.

ARRANGEMENTS: Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Tuesday, February 25, 2014, 4-8 pm at St. Augustine Church, 43 Essex St, Andover, MA.  Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine Church on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at 10 am. Burial will follow at West Parish Cemetery also in Andover.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a fund for Mary Ann’s Children. Checks may be made payable to the “Mary Ann Comparato Children’s Fund” and sent to Jacqueline Hesketh, 10 Cullen Circle, Andover MA, 01810.
