Never Forget Rachel Corrie

In January of 2007 a group of peace activists called “Wheels of Justice” spoke at Andover high school. It brought huge “controversy” because of Andover’s large jewish population, and the fact that israel’s crimes against humanity may be exposed. Countless jews from all over the state and even the Anti-Defamation League were sent to “monitor” the event.

Today is the anniversary of Rachel Corrie’s death. She was an American citizen who was killed in 2003 trying to stop yet another israeli bulldozer from demolishing a Palestinian’s house in the Gaza Strip. The driver of the bulldozer crushed her to death, then backed up to finish the job. At The Wheels of Justice event, jews shouted down the entire presentation. I remember clearly at one point a young speaker said: “my friend Rachel Corrie..”, and instantly a dozen or more jews shouted out “LIAR!” at the top of their lungs. This was an epiphany moment for me. The hatred these people had towards even the name of someone who stood in their way of the non-stop ethnic cleansing they have done since 1948 was a eye opener. Many people that night had videotaped the event. I would like to find a copy of a video of that night in any format and share it with the activist community and Rachel Corrie Foundation. Thanks
