The Middle School Bully

Well the bully got what he had coming to him today. No I don't condone violence and I am the first one to say just walk away it's not worth it. A sixth grader stood up to the bully today and fought back, he punched the bully in the face. Was that the right thing to do, no not at all, violence isn't the solution but maybe now the bully will stop bullying. This bully has slapped my son in the face and said, "I like slapping people."
The bully has repeatedly touch my sons hair after being told to stop, and the bully has called my son names and talked down to him. We'll they should tell the school, right, well children like my son that are being bullied don't want to tell at school because they are scared of what will happen after. My son told me and it hurt me inside. No child should have to go through this because of some classmate that is bigger than them. Yes I know who this child is and he is bigger than your average sixth grader and he uses that to push smaller people around. Violence is not the answer and that is what I told my son, but my hope now is that maybe that bully will think about how much his actions hurt others.  End the bullying now
