LOLCR Cat of the Week: TRANSIT - he's a doglike kitty

please consider adopting our special boy - transit

Transit is ready to travel to a loving home. He is a confident and striking boy, with his defined tiger like stripes and spots, white paws and an adorable half white diamond on his face. He also has soulful green eyes, short easily manageable fur (gray and black) and a long, lanky body. His physical and personality traits make us believe he is an Egyptian Mau mix. Only two years old, Transit has faced harsh winters and near starvation trying to survive in the woods. Luckily he stumbled upon a woman who was putting food out for some stray cats. Each time she arrived, Transit appeared. At each feeding, he would gobble down three cans of food. It wasn’t long before she realized that he was friendly and called in our rescue to help him. It took many long winter nights to capture Transit. In some ways, Transit is like a dog, he likes to follow his people around. He’s everything one looks for in a cat. Transit very much enjoys getting as much one-on-one attention as your heart desires. He accepts manicures and brush outs with ease. Transit is quite the vocal cat at times, most often when you are not getting his food dish down fast enough. He makes the cutest soft cooing sounds and purrs loudly when patted. Transit loves to snuggle on your lap or sit next to you while you watch tv, sometimes exposing his belly for a rubdown. He likes to use the scratch pads, does not scratch the furniture and has great litter box behavior. When Transit was taken in to the vet, it was determined he had a chronic deficiency easily managed with a low-cost supplement, to keep him at his healthy best. His special care is minimal and he is such a love bug it will soon be obvious to one lucky family that he is worth any extra effort he might need. A quiet home would make the easiest adjustment for him. He doesn’t mind sharing his humans with a small dog, but we have found that he does not enjoy the company of other cats. Transit would do well if he were the only cat in the house. Please consider opening your heart and home to this very special boy.
