Alleged Assault in Harold Parker

Tuesday, July 30


At 10:01 p.m., a 911 caller reported that a white vehicle was at Harold Parker State Forest and a woman there had been in a domestic fight. Police went and found the vehicle and the woman driving it said her boyfriend had assaulted her at a camp site. Aaron Szczuka, 37, of 21 Perkins St. Apt. 1, Amesbury, was charged with assault and battery of assault and battery of a household member and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Thursday, Aug. 1


At 5:03 a.m., someone walked into the station and dropped off an iPad with a broken screen he found on Main Street.

At 8:56 a.m., a caller reported a domestic dispute in a vehicle on South Main Street. A woman said she was in an argument with a man who was driving the vehicle and he attempted to crash the vehicle. She said he exited the vehicle and was walking on Route 28 north, but police did not find the man.

At 12:33 p.m., a caller on Carisbrooke Street reported having a squirrel in their basement. Police helped remove the squirrel.
