Alleged Drunk Driver Arrested Following Accident

Wednesday, Aug. 15
At 8:46 a.m. a caller reported a motor vehicle accident in front of the YMCA on Haverhill Street. No injuries were reported.

At 4:19 p.m. a caller reported that her wallet was stolen from Latitude Sports Club on North Main Street.
At 11:45 p.m. a caller reported that the railroad gates are stuck in the down position on Lowell Junction Road.

Thursday, Aug. 16
At 6:30 a.m. a possible pole fire was reported on Salem Street.
At 11:45 a.m. a caller reported a two-car crash with injury on Lowell Street. Police eventually arrested one of the drivers. Police arrested Stacey Courtois Roy, 55, of 4 the Fairways, Ipswich, on Lowell Street. Roy was charged with operating under the influence of liquor.
At 6:36 p.m. a caller reported that someone stole her cell phone while she was working at Chili's on River Road.
At 6:51 p.m. a two-car crash with injuries was reported on County Road.
