Car Stuck on Train Tracks on Andover Street

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public.

Monday, Nov. 26

At 10:47 a.m. a stolen motorcycle was reported on Boston Road.

At 11:50 a.m. a walk-in visitor reported the theft of a welfare card on Longwood Drive.

At 1:52 p.m. a caller reported that someone stole a ring from her home on Karlton Circle.

At 3:20 p.m. a three-car motor vehicle accident was reported on High Street. No injuries were reported.

At 8:51 p.m. a disabled motor vehicle was reported stuck on the railroad tracks on Andover Street. Police notified the railroad company to stop all trains. AAA removed the vehicle and the railroad was notified to for trains to begin moving again.

Tuesday, Nov. 27

At 8:43 a.m. the Andover Fire Department responded with an ambulance for a report of a shelving unit falling on a customer at a business on North Main Street.

At 12:50 p.m. walk-in visitor reported vandalism to a motor vehicle on Railroad Street.

At 2:23 p.m. a caller reported a two-car crash with no injuries on North Main Street.

At 3:40 p.m. a caller reported a two-car crash with no injuries on Haverhill Street.

At 5:23 p.m. a caller reported a single car that crashed into a stone wall on Red Spring Road. The operator of the motor vehicle may have broken his nose in the incident.

Wednesday, Nov. 28

At 8:58 a.m. a caller reported that property was taken from her yard on North Main Street a couple days prior.

At 9:11 a.m. a two-car motor vehicle accident with no injuries was reported on Minuteman Road.

At 11 a.m. a caller reported that his 1999 Nissan Maxima was stolen from his house on Jenkins Road recently.

At 12:19 p.m. a walk-in visitor reported fraudulent activity in his bank account on Blueberry Hill Road.

At 3:28 p.m. a caller reported a missing iPhone at Brickstone Square.

At 10:42 p.m. a caller reported that his son's computer was stolen from his locker in a gym on Lamancha Way.
