College Assault and High School Trespassing

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public.
Friday, Jan. 24
At 2:54 p.m., a caller reported that a Lawrence school bus struck her vehicle from behind.
Saturday, Jan. 25
At 9:11 a.m., a caller on Salem Street reported that someone tried to break into his home through a broken window overnight. Police told him a woman has been locked out of her vehicle and was knocking on doors.
Sunday, Jan. 26
At 2:35 a.m., Merrimack College Police reported an arrest. Eric Rist, 20, of 46 Kenneth St., Scituate, was charged with assault and battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
At 1:18 p.m., Andover High School security detained three people on the roof of the school. Ryan Kittredge, 26, of 61 Lane Road, Derry, N.H.; Alexander Cole, 24, of 43 River Road, Andover; and Justin Melanson, 25, of 407 McDaniel Shore Drive, Barrington, N.H., were all charged with trespassing.
