Lobby Disturbance and Domestic Assaults

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public.

Saturday, Jan. 18


At 3:29 a.m., a caller at a business on River Road reported that four people were causing a disturbance in the lobby. Police did not find the people.

At 5:11 a.m., a caller on Memorial Circle reported that her son was jumped by a neighbor's son.

Sunday, Jan. 19


At 12:21 a.m., a caller on Launching Road reported that her father hit her with a pole. William Quirk, 65, of 13 Launching Road, Andover, was charged with assault and battery of a household member.

At 4:23 p.m., a caller on River Road reported that a female in his home was "out of her mind" intoxicated. Police charged the woman with assaulting a police officer among other things. Read the complete story here.
