Man Charged With Disorderly Conduct After Multiple Complaints

A man was charged with disorderly conduct after a series of complaints from the early morning to late morning Sunday.

At 2:06 a.m. Monday, an employee at CVS on Main Street reported that a man was in the pharmacy area demanding to sleep there. Jeremy Beatty, 24, of 232 North Main St., Andover, was moved on his way.

At 9:45 a.m., a woman at Planet Fitness reported a man who matched Beatty's description was harassing her and assaulted her. Police reported they would summons him, but then at just after 11 a.m. a store owner on Main Street reported that Beatty was there harassing customers.

Beatty was charged with trespass and disorderly conduct.

At 1:53 a.m., an employee at LaQuinta Hotel reported that a child had locked a deadbolt in a room and fell asleep, and his parents could not enter the room. Police helped the parents unlock the door.

At 6:11 a.m., a caller reported that a man on Topping Road was rummaging through people's garbage bags.

At 8 a.m., a caller on Gould Road reported finding a trash bag with bones in it.
