Merrimack Students Arrested for Setting Off Alarm

The following are excerpts from the log. The log is open to the public.

Friday, May 4

At 1:02 a.m. police responded to a hit and run crash on Arcadia Road. A caller reported the one-car accident and when police arrived, the operator was missing. The vehicle had hit a telephone pole. Police tracked down the operator, who was not home at the time, to his address and spoke with his parents.

At 8:47 a.m. a caller reported a motor vehicle accident on Lowell Street. No injuires were reported. 

At 5:40 p.m. police arrested Nathan J. Bourque, 35, of 10 Lowell St., on Lowell Street. Bourque was charged with assault and battery on a household member, intimidation of a witness, disorderly conduct and threatening to commit a crime.

Saturday, May 5

At 2:35 a.m. police arrested Yom Lim, 50, of 3 Bailey St., Lawrence, on River Road. Lim was charged with a marked lanes violation, speeding and operating under the influence of liquor. 

At 7:14 a.m. a caller reported missing manhole covers on Bateson Drive.  

At 4:19 p.m. police arrested Ryan A. Jimenez, 23, 5 Rogers Brook, on Chestnut Sreet. Jimenez was charged with carrying a dangerous weapon. 

Sunday, May 6

At 2:51 a.m. police arrested Nathan Bartlett, 22, of 23 Mill Stone Road, Windham, N.H., and Andrew Mucciarone, 22, 17 Tarbox Lane, North Reading. Micciarone and Bartlett were charged with the malicious pull of a fire alarm. 

At 4:42 a.m. a CVS employee reported a shoplifter on Main Street. Police arrested Melanie Dube, 56, of 2303 Turnpike St., North Andover. Dube was charged with shoplifting. 

At 10:52 a.m. a caller reported a two-car motor vehicle accident on Lowell Street. Injuries were reported. 

At 6:19 p.m. police arrested Robert Cook, 23, 108 Pike St., Tewksbury. Cook was charged with possession of a class B substance.
