Police Help Tewksbury with Stabbing Incident

The police logs for Wednesday, April 20, contained several small incidents.

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public.

Wednesday, April 20

At 1:58 a.m. an officer reported a broken window in a building on South Main Street.

At 9:55 a.m. a caller reported a past motor vehicle break-in on Woodland Road. A GPS device was stolen from the vehicle.

At 3:26 p.m. police assisted Tewksbury Police with that was reported off East Street. Police were checking areas on Dascomb Road for a cell phone that could be related to the stabbing.

At 4:51 p.m. a minor motor vehicle accident was reported on River Road. No injuries were reported.

At 10:41 p.m. an Indian Ridge Country Club employee reported numerous vehicles in the lot and youths running around the golf course. An officer spoke with the individuals and they left the premises, with a promise not to return.
