Police Investigate Multi-Car Accident on Main Street

Tuesday, Jan. 31

At 11:06 a.m. the manager of reported bad checks being passed at the business.

At 2:15 p.m. police responded to a three-car motor vehicle accident with injuries on Main Street. Two of the three vehicles were towed from the scene.

At 3:45 p.m. a minor motor vehicle accident was reported on Lowell Street. No injuries were reported.

At 5:47 p.m. a caller reported hitting a deer on South Main Street. The operator’s vehicle sustained minor damage and no injuries were reported. The deer was deceased and picked up by individual registered with the town to accept deer.  

At 8:40 p.m. police arrested Robin Berry, 35, of 138 South Union St., Lawrence, on River Road. Berry was charged with possession of a class C substance, which was a prescription drug.
