Police Say Man Used Heroin, Passed Out in Car

Police say a New Hampshire man with heroin passed out in his car in the middle of a street Sunday.

At just after 9:30 p.m. Sunday, a resident called Andover Police and reported a male passed out in a vehicle on Shipley Street.

Police went to the scene and said they found Jeremy Eberhard, 35, of 12 Penwood Drive Apt. 8, Penacook, N.H., asleep at the wheel of the vehicle. Police said Eberhard had heroin as well as a syringe with him.

Eberhard was charged with possession of a class A substance and operating under the influence of drugs.

At 5:46 a.m., a caller on Pleasant Street reported that their vehicle was stolen overnight.

At 7:44 a.m., a caller on Granada Way reported that their vehicle was broken into overnight and items were stolen.

At 7:50 a.m., a caller on Sevilla Road reported that two cars there were broken into.

At 9:46 a.m., a caller on Andover Street reported that she found an older black lab and brought the dog to a nearby veterinary hospital.

At 1:12 p.m., police responded to a domestic dispute on Washington Avenue. Kyle Murphy, 28, of 13 Washington Ave., North Andover, was charged with domestic assault and battery and intimidation of a witness.
