Porta-Potty Tipped Over on Woburn Street

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public.

Thursday, Nov. 24

At 9:40 a.m. a CVS employee reported a belligerent customer who was acting aggressive and grabbed one of the employees. The suspect was described a white male in his 30s to 40s as wearing a baseball cap black jacket and jeans.

At 9:48 p.m. a caller reported vandalism to her mailbox on Sunset Rock Road.

At 1:19 p.m. the Fire Department responded to a cooking fire on Virginia Road. But the homeowner had the fire under control by the time firefighters arrived.

At 8:39 p.m. a caller reported a sewage problem on Flint Circle. The Water Department was notified.

At 8:57 p.m. an officer reports that an outhouse was knocked over on Woburn Street.

At 9:21 p.m. a caller reported people that were drinking and drove their motor vehicle into a telephone pole on Longwood Drive. Police eventually arrested Alan Greenough, 38, of 12 Longwood Drive, Apt. 3, on Longwood Drive. Grennough was charged with leaving the scene of property damage and operating under the influence of liquor.

Friday, Nov. 23

At 12:55 p.m. police arrested Venkata R. Nadella, 43, of 701 Brookside Drive, on Brookside Drive. Nadella was charged with two counts of assault and battery on a household member.

At 3:17 p.m. a caller reported youths setting off fireworks in the area of Chestnut Street.

At 3:52 p.m. police arrested Darrin K. O'Neil, 47, of 37 Elmira Ave., Newburyport, on Salem Street. O'Neil was charged with destruction of property over $250, malicious, breaking and entering daytime for a felony, and larceny over $250.
