Roof Collapses as Paper Mill Fire Rages in Lawrence
Fire companies from around the region are battling the blaze.
Fire departments from around the region rushed to fight a spectacular fire at the Merrimack Paper Co. in Lawrence.
As of 5:29 p.m. Monday, the blaze had reached five alarms. The fire is also affecting traffic because of smoke and the need to stretch fire hoses across roads.
Before the sun went down, smoke from the fire was visible in North Andover, according to Patch editor Bryan McGonigle.
