Scooter Gang Reported on Chestnut Street

Monday, June 25

At 8:20 a.m. a realtor asked police to look through a house she was selling because she believed something suspicious might have gone on over the weekend. An officer reports that it was a miscommunication and that the carpet cleaners had been at the house.

At 10:49 a.m. ADT reported a rear sliding door alarm at a single family home om Mortimer Drive. An officer reports that it appears the alarm was struck by lightening. However, the house appeared safe.

At 4:39 p.m. a caller reported seven young kids causing trouble in traffic on Chestnut Street while riding on scooters. The caller reported seeing them last heading up to the area.An officer caught up with the kids and advised them to stay out of the roadway.

At 8:30 p.m. a caller reported that his BMW was stolen from his garage at his Andover Street shop. An officer filed the incident.

At 8:49 p.m. a caller reported packages that were stolen from their doorstep on Farrwood Drive.

Tuesday, June 26

At 6:54 a.m. a caller reported workers on Tewksbury Street working before the allowed hour of 7 a.m. An officer spoke with a worker about the bylaw violation and came back later to speak with a foreman.

At 11:35 a.m. a caller reported a hit and run on Lowell Street. He said that his car was hit on Lowell Street while he was not around and it caused significant damage.

At 6:26 p.m. contacted the police regarding multiple formula thefts at the North Main Street supermarket.

At 11:47 p.m. a caller reported a breaking and entering on High Street. She reported an individual in the garage after the hearing the sound of glass break. An officer reports that it was a downstairs tenant and he was moving out.
