Train Nearly Hits Vehicle at Essex Street Crossing

When a car broke down on the train tracks at Essex Street in Andover, bystanders sprung into action to help despite the train collision being avoided.

A train was heading down the tracks when a car going over the tracks happened to break down right as the gates were lowering, according to an article on WHDH.com

People in the area immediately tried to help the individual stuck on tracks, with one bystander grabbing the driver and getting him out of the vehicle.

Luckily the train was able to stop in time before hitting the car and the man driving the vehicle was able to get out of the incident unscathed.
