There were two separate incidents of suspects assaulting police officers this past weekend, according to police reports.

On Sunday, a resident called police reporting that a woman was in his home intoxicated and "out of her mind."

Police went to the home and spoke with the woman in question, who police say refused to leave.

When police told her she was under arrest, she allegedly resisted arrest and kicked the officers. A taser was then used on her.

Cynthia Stackpole, 41, was charged with assault and battery of a police officer, trespass, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
