Town Clerk: Special Town Meeting Details

will be held in the Town of Andover on Dec. 5 at the Andover High School Collins Center Auditorium. The meeting will start at 7 p.m.

The Warrant will close Friday, Nov. 4. Anyone wishing to place an article on the Special Town Meeting warrant will need 100 signatures of registered voters in the Town. Forms can be picked up in the or on the website.  Call the Town Clerk’s Office if you need assistance.

The last day to register to vote for non-registered voters is Friday, Nov. 25, 2011. The Town Clerk’s Office will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. for voter registration. The Finance Committee Report and warrant will be mailed by Nov. 28.

Upon request, sign language interpreters, material on tape, and other auxiliary aides and services will be provided to ensure effective communications as specified in the American with Disabilities Act.  Arrangements must be made by contacting Candace Hall, the Town’s ADA Coordinator, at the by Friday, Nov. 11 at 978-623-8530.

All registered voters that attend Town Meeting will need to be checked into the meeting in the Lobby of Collins Center.   Registered voters can visit the Town website at www.andoverma.gov to conduct a precinct search under “Town Meeting and Election Calendar” on the home page, then “Precinct Search” and then entering their address. We recommend that voters check their precinct number before going to the meeting to avoid delays at the check-in area.
