Toxic Water Settlement Could Cost Residents Big Money

The case may be over, but the bill is coming.

Andover residents may be paying more than $1 million to settle a toxic water settlement, The Eagle-Tribune reports.

The town agreed to pay James Berbarian $450,000 recently after he sued the town for toxic water flowing into his property in 2010. Combined with engineering costs the price tag tops $1 million, which taxpayers will pay.
