Friends of Andover Tennis to Hold Casino Night, Silent Auction

The Friends of Andover Tennis will host its Casino Night auction fundraiser in one week from this Saturday in downtown Andover to ultimately fund renovated tennis courts at Andover High School.

This was provided by the Friends of Andover Tennis.

The Friends of Andover Tennis will host its Casino Night auction fundraiser on Saturday, Oct. 20, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., in downtown Andover at the Town House Function Hall (Old Town Hall) in support of the AHS tennis court renovation project.

Our casual-attire event will feature a silent auction, casino games for door prizes, fun attractions, a cash bar, delicious light catered food, live music, and entertainment by acclaimed comedian Tony V!

Event details are available at www.friendsofandovertennis.org under “October Auction Fundraiser.” Register and make your $50 or more ticket donation through our secure website link to the drop-down menu of charitable funds sponsored by ECCF.* Amounts beyond $25 are tax deductible for this event.

Tell your friends! Prepare to bid for fantastic auction prizes! Stay tuned for auction item and door prize descriptions! We look forward to seeing you on Oct. 20.

The Friends of Andover Tennis are raising $40,000, which we will gift to the Town of Andover together with corporate and grant-based assistance. We will partner with the town in order to reach the $300,000 it will cost to renovate the AHS tennis courts in 2013. The Friends wish to express their deep gratitude to several generous individual contributors, and to The Waldo Trust, and to Pfizer, Inc. and Eisai, Inc. of Andover for magnanimous large donations.

*All contributions are deeply appreciated! Either send a check made to “Friends of Andover Tennis Fund / ECCF” to Essex County Community Foundation, 175 Andover Street, Suite 101, Danvers, MA 01923; or pay by credit card through our webpage link to the ECCF secure-site drop-down menu of sponsored funds.
