Andover students have another reason to be proud this week.

U.S. News & World Report has released its annual schools rankings, and in Andover High School ranks 19 in Massachusetts. The school also ranks 393 nationally, out of more than 21,000 schools evaluated in the report.

Andover students scored a 3.7 rating on math and a 3.5 on English language skills, putting them in the 94th and 95th percentiles respectively.

The report also features college readiness -- based on percentages of seniors who have passed the AP exams -- and estimates that Andover High School students leave the school system 50.1 percent ready for college--which is above the state average.

The school came in #358 nationwide, and ranked #47 in STEM programming.

The top place in the state went to Sturgis Charter Public School, located in Quincy.

Boston Magazine ranked the school systems in the Greater Boston area at the end of August, and put the school lower down, at number 38 statewide.
