Andover Falls to Central in Double Overtime

Central Catholic's Matt McDermott brought the Raider's back after a 20-point deficit.

Central Catholic took down the Andover football team in the Thanksgiving Day game, 48-46, in double overtime.

Andover held a commanding lead in today’s game until the third quarter when gears shifted and Central made a comeback to eventually pull out the win.

Andover led the half, 20 to 7, and began the second half with another touchdown. However, with the help of quarterback Matt McDermott, Central turned around the 27 to 7 shortage.

Andover pulled out a last minute touchdown to tie 34-34 at the end, pushing into the first overtime.
