Dracut shocked Andover 26-10 last night.
The Warriors turned the ball over six times in a game that head coach E.J. Perry would like to soon forget.
Dracut scored 20 points in the second quarter, and that scoring spree was the deciding factor in the outcome of last night’s game.
Andover was close at 6-2 after one quarter. Andy Coke returned a botched two point conversion play and returned it 107 yards to the house for two points that got Andover on the board.
Then in the second, Andover’s defense allowed two passing touchdowns and one rushing.
In the fourth quarter, Will Heikkinen caught a 20 yard touchdown pass; he has scored touchdowns in every single game this season.
Andover’s postseason hopes got a bit bleak with last night’s loss but the Warriors still have three game remaining to right the ship.
Andover hosts Billerica next week. They then have Lowell coming to town before the annual Thanksgiving game against Central Catholic.
