Weather-wise, we're in for an interesting week. Temperatures will be around 50 degrees Monday, with some rain. But a large blast of arctic air from the North Pole will drop temperatures way down into the teens by Tuesday. By the end of the week things will thaw as temperatures climb into the 30s.
The Board of Selectmen will meet Monday at 7 p.m. at Town Hall. On the agenda is a water agreement with North Reading.
On Tuesday, the American Red Cross will have a Blood Drive starting at 1:30 p.m. at Temple Emanuel.
Also on Tuesday, the Andover Garden Club will host "The Garden in Winter" at 10 a.m. at South Church. Garden designer, author and lecturer Joan Butler will discuss how gardening can be done in winter.
