Music, Zumba and Witches This Weekend in Andover

Your local guide to weekend fun.

After a nice week of autumn warmth and sun, the rain is set to return Friday Saturday and possibly Sunday, with temperatures in the low 70s. It won't be a total wash-out, but here are some things to do both indoors and outdoors just in case.

Music: The band known as "The Off Chance" will perform Friday night at 7 p.m. at The Real School of Music.

Witches: Historians Charlotte Lyons and Graham Long will present "Bewitched in Andover," Friday at 7 p.m. at the Andover Historical Society. The discussion will explore the the witch trials and conflict that contributed to the eventual split of Andover into North and South Parishes."

Comedy: Lots of Laughs Comedy Lounge will have a fundraiser Friday night to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence.Performers include Mike McDonald, Graig Murphy and Chris D.

Recycling: The MBTA will host a Community Recycling Event Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Brickstone Square lower parking lot. This event allows you to recycle large household items for free (fees apply for TVs and computers).

Free Zumba: Yang Fitness Center will have a Free Intro to Zumba class Saturday at 9 a.m.
