For the most part the place has been empty whenever I have gone there to watch a game which doesn't make it much fun. Can't complain about the service at the bar as that's been fine for me.

I live out of state but I have been to Dylans several times and the owner, Sam, has always been very courteous, accommodating and friendly !!! Bobby the bartender also has been the same !!! and the food is always good... sooooo ?????? I guess everyone has an opinion !!!

The owner is notorious for being a jerk. I don't know how they stay in business. I was there for a private party 3 years ago and he was rude and obnoxious to us. All of the staff were apologizing and telling us they hated working for him but needed the job.

DO NOT EVER GO TO DYLAN'S! I'm the volunteer director of a 501c3 non-profit dog rescue based in Andover. Yesterday a few of us volunteers met at Dylan's to have an informal meeting with new helpers. Sunday afternoon 3PM, Pats game didn't start until 8, snowstorm going on outside - the place was completely deserted aside from a mom and 3 kids eating lunch at the bar. We sat at a corner booth, ordered wine and hot tea and started chatting, indicated to the waitress we would order apps/dinner in a bit. Twenty minutes in, the manager and owner came over and asked us to leave. They told us that they were uncomfortable with us "doing business" in their restaurant and, because we obviously don't have an office, we must be doing something illegal. We tried to explain that we were a non-profit all volunteer charity and we were absolutely there to pay to eat and drink while we talk. The owner got angrier, said it was "inappropriate" for us to be there and told us to GET OUT.

Really? Four middle aged women, in fleeces and sneakers, probably covered in dog hair... drinking house cabernet and hot tea with lemon... did he think we were interviewing new girls for our Town of Andover prostitution ring?

Needless to say, we will never step foot in that place ever again. We have since heard similar stories from other folks who have experienced the same treatment from the owner. I'm floored he's still in business.

Way to show your Christmas spirit, Dylan's.
