Established in 1973, the Professional Center for Child Development serves young children with a variety of mental and physical disabilities, specifically newborns to children eight years old. The center employ a staff of professionals that includes registered nurses, physical and occupational therapists and speech and language pathologists.
The center deals with young children with special needs caused by birth complications, genetic defects, accident trauma or other factors. The center seeks to help these children live up to their potential and achieve; they also seek to give parents and caregivers the tools and advice to help children succeed.
