Friday, May 17 At 12:29 p.m. police arrested Alexis Raul Gonzalez, of 107 Margin St., Apt. 1, Lawrence, on Main Street. Gonzalez was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and a marked lanes violation. At 11:08 p.m. police stopped a New Hampshire resident who said she was lost and appeared to be under the influence of a substance. Police eventually arrested Krystal Duval, 21, of 16 Frost Road, Derry, N.H., on River Street. Duval was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, possession of a class E substance and possession of a class A substance. A local boy participated in the 'Lil Chef' program at the Rockingham Mall last weekend.
A host of area children attended the "Lil Chef" program at the Mall at Rockingham Park, where children learned out to create tasty treats from basic ingredients. Auntie Anne's, Dunkin' Donuts and William-Sonoma all donated ingredients to help make this event happen. In this photo Andover boy Vihar Kottakota, age 5, is carefully selecting the ingredients to build his teddy graham race car at The Mall at Rockingham Park's Super Duper Lil Chefs event. Vihar is the son of Rajendra Kottakota of Andover.

Andover's annual Memorial Day Parade will begin at 10 a.m. next Monday morning, May 27, at the intersection of Elm Street and Florence Street. Many civic, patriotic and fraternal organizations march in the annual town event. Any others not already participating that wish to march should contact the Veterans’ Services Office at (978) 623-8218. There will be a collation at the Doherty Middle School cafeteria at 11:30 A.M. for all parade participants. As per custom, no political activity can be accommodated in and during the parade. The route leads from the intersection of Elm and Florence Streets to Main Street, to Punchard Avenue, Bartlet Street and ends at The Park.
