Former State Sen. Minority Leader Richard Tisei was seen to have a fighting chance -- and to some, a likely victory -- in the 2012 race for the 6th District congressional seat. But after the votes were counted, Tisei fell short and lost that race to incumbent Democratic Congressman John Tierney. Tisei did, however, win North Andover handily and amassed a wave of energized support across the district along the way. Tisei has decades of experience in politics, having served in the Massachusetts legislature for more than 25 years and serving as Senate minority leader before leaving his seat to run as Charlie Baker's gubernatorial running mate in 2010. I think it's a bit rich that Kerstin should think that Tisei should fight for ethics in politics when his background is not exactly clean either. I guess your perspective depends on which party you support.   more ›
