This week's Event of the Week is a production of "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown."
The Andover High Theater Productions will be presenting the musical "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" this weekend at the Collins Center. The theater group bills this show as "a wonderful show for the whole family." This will be a production of both the Andover High School Drama Guild and Music Department. Performances will be held at the Collins Center at the Andover High School at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 10 and Friday, May 11, and 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 12. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students and seniors. All tickets are sold at the door and doors open 90 minutes before each show. For more information go the Collins Center website.

At the DCU Center in Worcester on Saturday, Andover High hauled in its third straight state championship. The Warriors finished the season 27-0. History was made at the DCU Center last night. "We're good," said Andover High coach Jim Tildsley after the state title game. "I mean we're very talented but we're mentally tough," he continued. Down by a pair at halftime, the Warriors clinched the state title with a 16-3 third quarter surge. "We could have packed it in a couple times and we didn't," said Tildsley. His squad won their third consecutive state title 61-45 to close the book on a remarkable high school basketball dynasty. Today at 5:45pm, the Andover High School Lady Warriors will take on Holyoke High School with the MIAA Division 1 state championship on the line. Worcester's DCU Center will host the festivities. For the third time in three years, Andover used the TD Garden as a stepping stone to the DCU Center. With a come-from-behind 54-39 win over Braintree, Andover advanced to its third straight state championship game. "It's good to win here at the Garden," said Warriors head coach Jim Tildsley.
