They'll be discussing the the High School course schedule, the Bancroft School project and other agenda items. The Annual ClownTown festival for kids is coming up on Friday, May 17 and Saturday, May 18.
The Andona Society is once again holding their annual ClownTown event this coming weekend, filled with games, rides and food for kids and families. The event, like each year before it, will be held in The Park located at Bartlet and Chestnut on Friday, May 17th from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Saturday, May 18 from 10 a.m. to 4:40 p.m. The rain date is May 19. Admission to ClownTown is free. This event will once again feature a small midway with carinval rides and games, as well as crafts tables and more throughout the walkways in the Park.
The Town of Andover Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day is next weekend.
Household hazardous waste collection days are held on a regular basis throughout the Merrimack Valley and give residents a chance to dispose of many hazardous products safely. For Andover, one of these days is coming up next weekend. The Household Hazardhouse Waste Collection will take place on Saturday, May 18 at the West Elementary School from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Please note that residents are reminded that waiting lines will not be allowed to form early. Find crafts a plenty at the Crafts in the Park event coming up this Saturday, May 11, at the Park, located at the corner of Chestnut Street and Bartlet Street.
The 37th annual Crafts in the Park event is coming to Andover again this weekend. Come celebrate the handmade arts and crafts of over 120 artisans from all over New England. The fair will include all of the same wares as the years before but with a new group of craft vendors. And for Mother's Day coming up, the craft fair will most certainly have a host of presents for Mom. Check out the CIP website at www.craftsinthepark.com for additional details. This is an outdoor event (rain or shine) and is located in the Park on the corner of Chestnut and Bartlett streets in Andover.
