Ray Charles' Daughter to Speak at Baptist Church

Sheila Raye Charles is the daughter of the legendary Ray Charles and is on a mission to share her journey and her music as she travels. Her next stop is the Baptist Church in Andover.

Sheila Raye Charles is the daughter of the legendary Ray Charles and is on a mission to share her journey and her music as she travels. She'll be speaking at the Baptist Church in Andover on March 23 at 12 p.m. Free and open to the public.  If you are not familiar with her story, she was sexually molested as a child, had a 20+ yr. crack cocaine addiction, lost custody of all five of her children and went to federal prison 3 times.   Frequently described as "anointed and very genuine", Sheila is often called to speak at churches, recovery groups and prisons. She has completed the Celebrate Recovery Program. This past summer, both she and her husband were ordained.
