What intersection do you think is most dangerous in Andover?
Andover police and town officials worked hard last year revamping signage and fixing traffic issues, some of which were designed to make areas of town safer. Many were delighted to see that town approved an all-way stop at the intersection of Salem Street and Jekins Road, one of the more dangerous intersections in town. This week Andover Patch is asking readers to let us know which is the most dangerous intersection in town. Is there a dangerous intersection we missed? Let us know in the comments section.

A multiple car accident around midnight on Tuesday resulted in one serious injury.
State Police are investigating a multiple-car accident on Interstate 93 northbound that required a MedFlight for one individual with serious injury. The accident was reported around midnight Tuesday occurred near the Dascomb Road exit and resulted in the closure of all northbound lanes at one point. The one individual with serious injury was flown to Mass Genearl Hospital following accident. Police currently did not know the condition of the individual. Troopers from the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section and Crime Scene Services Section are investigating the accident. Both Andover Police and Andover Fire assisted in the accident.

Police responded to a one-vehicle accident around noon Wednesday.
Police responded to a one-vehicle accident on Route 28 near the the off ramp for Interstate 495 northbound earlier today. Possible injuries were reported with one individual, who was transported to an area hospital. Police believe that the car was traveling south on Route 28 and veered off the road near the off ramp for Interstate 495.

The State Police responded to an accident on 495 at 10:30 a.m. involving an occupied horse trailer.
The State Police in Andover say that a horse involved with an accident on Interstate 495 is now walking around and appears fine. Police responded to a one-vehicle accident on Interstate 495 south at approximately 10:30 a.m. this morning. Police say that the accident involved a rollover with a horse trailer and the horse was on its side at one point. State Police are now reporting that the horse is upright and walking. Only minor injuries were reported with one individual in the incident. The scene is still active and delays can be expected on Interstate 495 south in the area around between exit 40 and exit 39.

An accident early this morning on I-93 north resulted in the death of a Londonderry, N.H., man, who police have just identified.
Police are still investigating a two-car motor vehicle accident on Interstate 93 that resulted in the fatality of a New Hampshire man early Friday morning. Police recently identified the victim as David S. Tulley, 19, of Londonderry, N.H. At approximately, 4:12 a.m. police responded to the accident in the area of Interstate 93 northbound before the Dascomb Road exit in Andover. A preliminary investigation indicates that Tulley was driving his 2001 Ford Taurus when he lost control of the vehicle, weaving in and out of the median strip until he hit an object in the median strip. This collision forced him to rollover into the northbound lane and collide with the driver of a 2004 Dodge Dakota pickup truck. He was transported to Lahey Clinic …

The ramp to I-495 south from I-93 south has now been reopened following an accident this morning.
The ramp from Route 93 South to Route 495 South in Andover has finally been repoened after a tractor trailer flipped on its side on the ramp at about 11 a.m. Thursday. State Police closed the ramp for several hours until the tractor trailer was off-loaded and removed from the roadway. There were no injuries reported in the accident and State Police are still looking into the incident.
