Dr. Richard Keller, of Andover, pleaded not guilty to child pornography charges in federal court Tuesday.
Charged with multiple counts of child pornography stemming from a September arrest, Dr. Richard Keller pleaded not guilty to charges of child pornography in Boston's federal court Tuesday, according to the Boston.com. Keller, 56, worked as the medical director at Phillips Academy for over 20 years and is being charged with receiving child pornography as well as possessing it. Keller was arrested at his Cyr Circle home in September when a raid of his home turned up numerous videos depicting children in sexually explicit situations. The Andover pediatirican, who was arrested on child pornography charges, was indicted last week in federal court and is now facing even more counts of child pornography, according to an article in the Boston Herald. Richard Keller, 56, was set to appear in Boston's federal court house Tuesday afternoon. He is facing two counts of receiving child pornography and one count of possessing child pornography. Keller allegedly had videos depicting boys between 7 and 16 years old in sexually explicit situations delivered to both his Cyr Circle home and Phillips Academy Andover, where he worked for decades as the cheif medical director for the school. Dr. Richard Keller, who was arrested this past September on child porn charges, was just indicted in federal court.
On Tuesday, a federal grand jury indicted Andover resident Dr. Richard Keller on charges of receiving and possessing child pornography, according to the Boston Herald. Keller, 56, was arrested back in September and charged with receiving child pornography at his Cyr Circle home in Andover as well as at the mailbox of his former position as the head pediatrician for Phillips Academy Andover.
