If you celebrate Christmas and still have shopping to do, this is crunch time. Just three days left until Christmas morning. Retailers are happy this year because of the way the calendar falls. It provides an extra full day of shopping versus last year, when Christmas Eve fell on a Saturday. So tell us, North Shore. Are you done shopping? Bramanti and the Warriors hold off North Andover 63-60 in the Christmas Tournament Final.
It was Scarlet versus Golden, the Cavalry versus the Haak's Nest, Karalis versus Bramanti, Knights versus Warriors, and Andover versus North Andover. With tons of bragging rights on the line, not to mention the tournament championship, Andover took down North Andover 63-60 in the 36th Annual Greater Lawrence Christmas Tournament. Andover took the gold in the Christmas tournament for the first time since 1994 to break a 16 year drought. Here are some photos from the monumental victory.

The basketball gods gazed below and smiled happily on the town of Andover this week as the boys on Shawsheen Road delivered a Christmas tournament title to their fans, a gift far more special than one found under trees and wrapped in colorful paper and ribbon. On the back of its senior scoring machine and tournament MVP Joe Bramanti, the Andover High School Golden Warriors captured their first Christmas Tournament trophy since 1994 in a barnburner of a final at Lawrence High School on Thursday night.
